I have bought two pairs of the same style of jeans at one time, but I'm not sure I'd ever buy 6, for Patricia's reason. I'm guessing I'm 5 lbs heavier than I was a year ago, though also 5 lbs lighter than I was a few months ago... 5 lbs makes a big difference on jeans sizing for me, as it's mostly in the waist.
I don't think Levi's stores here build jeans for people, though I remember that being advertised in the US years ago.

yes, that's a good plan. If you find jeans that fit buy in multiples. However, I probably wouldn't buy as many as Mark does at a time as I'm taking a risk that I won't gain or lose weight.

Doesn't Levis have a program where you can go to some stores, get measured, and then they build jeans to fit you? And you can keep ordering more from the same sizing data? I'm sure I remember this.

Huh, this isn't Levis, but there is makeyourownjeans dot com

I cheat, being male. In 2005, I went to Cheap-Jeans dot com, and bought six pair of identical black Levis 501s. (There was a price point break at 6). One of them I still have never worn and still have the tags. Once I've worn out all 6, I'll go do it again.
