Ed’s boyfriend Tom sent me this photo to put up on the website. I agreed with him that this image sums up Ed and all he was about.
Ed was the sort of guy who when drunk, you couldn’t tell. His level of cheer and goodwill is something the rest of us require mind-altering chemicals to achieve.
Those of you who didn’t know Ed are probably thinking that people are saying so many good things about him because it’s rude to say anything else. But that’s all there is to say about him. The worst I’ve heard from people is that he was sometimes too nice and never said a bad thing about anyone, when sometimes they deserved it. That’s it. What a horrible guy, eh?
Damn you, Ed, for being so much fun.

Rhizome is 1.5 blocks east of Kingsway, on the north side on Broadway, directly across the west corner of Kingsgate Mall. If possible, it would be great if folks could RSVP to miko@dkam.ca if they are planning to attend the reception, but it’s not necessary.
