I got my certificate in the mail today for the MySQL Core Certification. The piece of paper came with a lot more stuff than either of my two UBC degrees did (with those, I got a pin. Whoopie.). See here, a beach volleyball. Which would be incredibly useful in my office, except for the bit where we already have a beach volleyball (from WordPerfect) and we never use it. Unless there’s some really fun game that requires two beachballs of different sizes. If you know of any, let me know. Bonus points if it includes a foosball table.
I also got some stickers, and some cool looking pens which seem to work (unlike many swag pens, which generally don’t). Oh, and there’s the bit in the enclosed documentation that says I get to use this logo for evil:
